The Ritz Carlton

So many people got married this weekend~! We attended a wedding at a beautiful oceanfront resort, Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel. I've visited this location once when I was young, but vaguely remember the gorgeous scenery. The ambiance of the wedding was just perfect with the romantic sunset. I had the perfect dress in mind when I found out the wedding was going to be at the Ritz. I purchased it last year at the Great Mall in San Jose at BCBG. It was on clearance and they only had  few left. I was lucky they had it in my size! I absolutely love the asymmetric v-line, makes it so unique!

Dress: BCBG $40 (clearance, org. $198)
Necklace and Earring set: Jessica McClintock $19 (sale)
Clutch: Carnival Cruise line! haha $10
Ring: Forever 21 $5.80

A Bright Future

I'm soo happy that I finally graduated and obtained a Masters degree~!!! Went out shopping yesterday to buy this cute mint dress. I love this color and the material. It's so refreshing and bright. On top of all this, it was super cheap!! I was so excited when I found this purse last weekend in Oldtown Pasadena. I don't really have any really bright accessories or handbags so I thought this would be a great change. Its the perfect size for my big wallet too. I wasn't planning on wearing these two items together, so when I tried it on this morning I was surprised as to how well they go together!  I think I went on a mad shopping spree after I found out I passed my comprehensive exam, so I will definitely be posting a lot more soon. =)

Dress: Forever 21 $13.80
Purse: H&M $17.99
Necklace: Forever 21 $15.80
Ring: Forever 21 $4.80
Heels: Charlotte Rouse $4.99 (clearance)

High-Low Cut

Currently obsessed over the hi-lo cuts! for dresses, skirts, and even tops! They look awesome in both evening or casual attire. I've been searching for the perfect summer dress, but still haven't found the one yet. After shopping last night, I remembered that I actually wore a hi-lo cut dress back in 2009 at a glamour shoot. I loveeee that dress! It really accentuates your legs.

Tropical fruits

I've been anticipating these cute nail art sticks for so long and when I finally got them, I didn't have time to play with them because I had finals =( So of course the first thing I do after pulling an all-nighter writing my FINAL paper is paint my nails! =) You need a sharp x-acto knife to thinly slice the pieces off the sticks. Be patient, this may take some practice.

1. Use scotch tape to line the skin next to your nails to avoid nail polish excess on your fingers.
2. Use a sponge to dab white nail polish on 2/3 of your nail.
3. Wait for the white nail polish to dry and then use a light green nail polish to dab half of the white portion.
4. Wait for that to dry and then use a dark green nail polish to dab the tips of your nails.
5. Use the nail polish brush to trace the edges of your nails to create a darker finish on the tips.
6. After it is all dry, use a clear coat and quickly stick on the fimo nailart.
7. Use a pair of tweezers to press down on the nailart to make sure it sticks.
8. Lastly use a clear top coat to seal everything.

Fimo Nailart: For $8 you get 100 different designs! It'll last you a lifetime!
