Color blocking

This nail art was inspired by this dress I bought from Express a couple months ago. When I first saw it in stores, I fell in love with it after trying it on because it fit so perfectly. But it was $149 and I really hesitate spending so much on a dress that I would only wear a couple of times. So I waited and waited and then a few months after it was on sale for $49! But they also had a special that weekend where all sale items were an additional 30% off!! So I ended up paying $35 for it!! =P
The rings are from Reed Krakoff. I was just trying them on for fun at the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace. It was insanely overpriced! $595 each!! crazy~

Aztec dress/top

Celebrated my birthday early this year in Vegas.
I love the garden area at Bellagio. They had a ton of my favorite tulips that filled the room with such a wonderful scent. I was surprised as to how nice this Aztec dress looked when I tried it on in the store. It was so cheap too! It can also be worn as a top.

Easter Inspired Red Velvet CakePops

 Red Velvet CakePops
1. Bake Red Velvet cake
2. Crumble the cake and let cool
3. Mix in 3/4 of 1 lb of Cream Cheese Frosting (not too much or else the cake will be too moist)
4. Roll mix into ball shaped around 1.5 inches
5. Refrigerate for a couple of hours or freeze for 15 minutes
6. Microwave Dark Chocolate candy melt from Wilton's for 1 minute
6. Fill plastic Reese's cup half way with melted dark chocolate and  quickly place cakepop in. Make sure the chocolate fills up all the way after cake is deposited.
7. Freeze for a couple of minutes in the Reese's molding
8. Take out of fridge and pop them out
9. Microwave Purple candy melt from Wilton's for 1 minute
10. Carefully dip cakepop in filling the edges
11. Decorate quickly before candy hardens

Easy Breezy

This peach woven top is top one of my favorites! I was so happy when they found it in my size at the store (it was the last one there!) It is actually sleeveless, but it drapes over your arms. The material is sheer, so I wore a nude spaghetti strap inside. I love these chandelier gold earrings with little pink hearts. Great work attire.

Top: Forever 21 $15.80
Earrings: Forever 21 $5.80

Easter Inspired NailArt

This Easter inspired nailart takes quite some time and patience to paint. Because there are 3 layers (colors) you have to wait until each one fully dries. I was  bit impatient and stuck on the tape before it fully dried and had to repaint the bottom coat a couple of times =/ The trick is to use tape that is not too sticky. Simply tape the sections you'd like to paint and then peel off immediately before it dries. When you are peeling it off, try to do it slowly and carefully or else the edges might not look straight.

Everything's Just Peachy

Top: Forever 21 $5.90 (sale)
Scarf: Forever 21 $8.80

This scarf is classy yet casual. Goes great with a variety of outfits. I like to buy things that are more versatile so I can get more bang for the buck. I love the folded edge on this shirt, makes a plain knit top looks just a bit more fashionable.

Taupe/ Peach/ Navy Top

These bright and contrasting colors really makes the shirt pop. Great for work as well as just a casual day in the empty parking lot. ;P

Top: Forever 21 $14.80

Buttons down the back

Top: Forever 21 $10.80
Pants: Express
Heels: Calvin Klein $45 (sale)

I've been wanting to get these heels for so long but hesitated because of the price. I just kept waiting and waiting and one day they were finally on sale! I was so excited and happy that I waited. I was surprised as to how comfortable they are. They are so versatile and go with any outfit!
The top from Forever 21 comes in two different colors. The white one (pictured above) and a peach one. I really like the peach one too; contemplating buying the other one since it is so cheap! It can be worn with business as well as casual attire.
